Remi was my second ever commissioned dog portrait in December of 2016. His adorable smile really makes this piece for me. I didn't know there were silver labs before I received photos of him. I painted him on 11 x 14 cradled wood aquabord, making him the largest watercolor I had done to that date. It was a great opportunity and learning experience for me. I learned that larger paintings really do take more time for me to complete. In the Christmas rush to complete portraits and ship them out I forgot to take good quality photos of my pieces from that time period.
